The Clinical Systems Analyst II will participate in the design, development, implementation, modification, and evaluation of health care information systems. A caregiver in this position works Days + Calls, from 8:00am—5:00pm.

 

EpicCare Ambulatory or Epic Kaleidoscope certification strongly preferred.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

  • Interact with end-users as required to assist in problem definition and system design. 

  • Coordinate and perform education and end-user training programs to assure systems are utilized as designed. 

  • Develop end-user documentation or a permanent reference for clear, concise information. 

  • Provide implementation assistance for system projects through all phases of the system development life cycle. 

  • Assists with system build, data validation and system testing. 

  • Participate in Project teams associated with the development and implementation of clinical systems. 

  • Recommend automated and manual solutions to enhance system functionality. 


Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.  

  • Three years of applicable hospital or major medical center clinical experience 

  • OR two years of recent experience supporting a major clinical information system. 

  • OR Associate’s degree and five years of relevant experience. 

  • OR Master’s degree and two years of experience.  

  • OR High School diploma/GED and more than five years of relevant experience. 

  • Experience typically supported by license in a medically related field such as nursing, pharmacy assistant, medical assistant, medical technology or EMT. 

  • Technical certification may be required. 

  • For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within six months of the position start date.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

  • Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.

  • Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment. 

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
