Join us as a Compliance Data Analytics Manager

  • This role provides an opportunity to design, develop, implement and embed an effective Conduct and Compliance Data Analytics capability that identifies, aggregates and analyses existing compliance related data to draw useful insights and proactively identify existing or emerging areas of compliance risk
  • We’re looking for someone who’ll use their specialist advanced analytics, translation, and visualisation skills to collaborate with compliance stakeholders and meet their business needs
  • Day-to-day, you’ll be working with senior compliance stakeholders and using your data and analytic expertise to help provide solutions to their issues in line with our purpose

What you’ll do

In this role, you’ll be working with compliance stakeholders to answer compliance risk management questions and issues through advanced analytics. This includes developing stakeholder partnerships and relationships through presenting data work and promoting data literacy education.

We’ll look to you to help develop the thinking and approach to compliance data analytics within NatWest Markets and to manage the delivery of data and analytics resources to bring value to business challenges. You’ll also be finding data and analytics opportunities and presenting them to business stakeholders to help them understand their benefits.

You’ll also be:

  • Understanding the needs of business stakeholders by using your consultancy skills to build credibility and deliver data and analytics solutions to meet our compliance strategy
  • Making sure data is strategically sourced from approved golden sources and actively identifying any data quality issues that can be escalated for investigation
  • Influencing important compliance risk decisions for key stakeholders through the visualisation of advanced analytics that reveal key data trends and insights to meet stakeholder needs

The skills you’ll need

To be successful in this role, you’ll need knowledge of data architecture, key tooling, and relevant coding languages. You’ll also know how to simplify data into clear data visualisations by using key systems and tooling.

We’ll look to you to understand data management practice and principles and have experience in translating data and insights for key stakeholders. You’ll also have a great knowledge of advanced analytics. You'll have a strong understanding of data analytics and a track record of turning data into actionable stories that can be effectively used to drive organisational changes.

You’ll also need:

  • Excellent knowledge of data engineering, data science and decisioning disciplines
  • Financial services knowledge and an understanding of how to identify conduct and compliance risks and opportunities and make connections across key outputs and processes
  • Great leadership skills to help coach, support and motivate colleagues
  • Good persuasive communication skills with an understanding of how to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including those at executive level
