We are in search of an Oracle Analytics / Business Intelligence Developer to join our Business Intelligence team within the Chief Information Offices.  This is a virtual position working with analyst community representatives to translate business needs into technical specifications.  The candidate will design, develop, and deploy models within Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) that will support customer data and reporting needs.  A successful candidate will have the opportunity to champion OAC and educate our user base about advanced business intelligence techniques.  Other responsibilities include supporting user training, staying abreast of application improvements, resolving customer issues, recommending tools, implementing solutions, and working with other IT organization members to resolve issues.

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Design, develop, and deploy data models through RPD development 

• Provide customer and IT project support 

• Backlog management 

• Application compliance documentation 

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years of relevant Business Intelligence experience. Additional years of relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. 

• Strong understanding of relational database architecture and metadata concepts 

• Experience developing data models   

• Strong understanding of SQL language and cloud management 

• Strong knowledge of ETL modeling and data augmentation 

• US citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Oracle’s Model Administration Tool and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure administration  

• Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence 

• Experience in business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Power BI, and Tableau 

• Experience in scripting languages
