Join our Compliance department as Senior AFC Manager / Deputy MLRO (stellvertretende:r Geldwäschebeauftragte:r) (f/m/d). This role will be instrumental in optimizing our anti-financial crime framework, enabling Moss to grow securely while maintaining trust with customers and regulators in an ever-evolving fintech landscape.
Your responsibilities.
You work on implementation of the new EU AML regulation and steadily improve our compliance processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
You support the development of our AFC risk analysis, the MLRO Report, and further regulatory assessments, as well as conduct spot checks on our implemented AFC measures (2nd level).
You conduct regular transaction monitoring to identify, investigate, and report suspicious activities (SAR).
You perform and oversee PEP, Sanction, and Adverse Media Screening processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
You provide guidance and training to the KYC operations team and other departments, fostering compliance awareness and address the regulatory implications of new products and services.
You support the MLRO in maintaining a solid relationship with auditors and regulators.
About you
Significant experience in compliance, anti-money laundering, or financial crime prevention roles (e.g. as Compliance Officer or AML Analyst), preferably within banking, fintech, or financial services.
Comprehensive knowledge of the German AML law (Geldwäschegesetz) and BaFin's interpretation and application guidelines (Auslegungs- und Anwendungshinweise), with familiarity with international standards like FATF and EBA Guidelines.
Proficiency in German (C1); fluency in English (C1).
A degree in finance, law, or a related field; certifications such as ACAMS or ICA are a plus.
