Job Description Summary

#TeamAAM is looking for a Coordinator Controls Engineering to join our team in North Vernon, IN.


Oversees the design, testing, installation and maintenance of large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in manufacturing. Projects range from basic to complex, requiring management of resources and independent judgment and decision-making. Develops and implements controls engineering procedures and techniques. Prepares and manages an annual budget around several projects.

Job Description

• Supervises a team of controls engineers; holds them accountable for delivering identified projects on or ahead of schedule, at or under budget, that meet internal customer requirements.
• Interfaces with operational personnel throughout the project to gather requirements, ensure plan meets the requirement, and gain approval to proceed with the application and project plan.
• Track controls engineering project accomplishments by comparing outcomes to plans; summarizing results; and keeping management informed.
• Signs off on the testing and validation of controls engineering applications. Authorizes applications to be put in production upon successful outcomes of tests.
• Ensures project documentation is completed following the approved methodology, tools, and templates.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• BS Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience, or a combination of experience and education.
• 2 years of experience in start-up commission and robot integration
• 5 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• 2 years of supervisor experience
• proficient in Mircosoft office and PLEX
• Experience working with Studio 5000
