Job Summary
The role is responsible for the Commercial category business for a sub-region of LATAM. The role designs strategies and manages execution leveraging market analysis and subject matter expertise to stay ahead of the competition. The role identifies and implements process improvement initiatives and undertakes talent management. It is responsible and drives the P&L of the business.
Responsibilities
• Manages activities of individual contributors and/or managers and directs the overall category management operations to achieve business objectives set by the senior management.
• Identifies opportunities for expanding the category's market reach, potentially through new distribution channels, geographical expansion, or innovative sales approaches.
• Collaborates closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment and coordination of efforts related to the category's success.
• Analyzes sales data, trends, and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and identify areas for improvement.
• Acts as a bridge between marketing and regional customer-facing organizations to ensure effective communication.
• Drives revenue growth within the assigned area, setting ambitious targets and implementing innovative approaches to achieve and exceed sales quotas.
• Shapes sales approaches and strategies from the insights derived from the market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive intelligence, and customer preferences.
• Applies expert subject matter knowledge, shapes knowledge base across businesses, functions, or regions, and provides strong leadership, driving change initiatives and monitoring performance goals.
• Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Engineering, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 10+ years of job-related experience or 8-10 years of management experience, preferably in category management, P&L management, or a related field

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $177,800.00 to $273,800.00 USD annually, with a 80/20 (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
