Reporting to the Head of Learning, you will design and implement the comprehensive learning strategy, fostering a culture of culture of continuous learning, and ensuring learning solutions enhance associate performance and business outcomes. This leadership role will be critical to ensuring new GEICO employees feel a strong connection to our purpose and our impact - from day one. Location:

  • Hybrid (3 days per week) in our Chevy Chase, MD; Dallas, TX; or New York, NY office. Other locations being considered.

  • Periodic travel to other locations as needed.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategic Learning Leadership:

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives, with a focus on both new hire and current associates.

  • Curriculum Development:

    • Create and maintain a robust curriculum for Corporate and Companywide training, including Technology, Finance,  HR, Business Acumen, and Compliance.

  • Team Management:

    • Lead a team of learning professionals, including instructional designers and function aligned learning program leads to deliver high-quality training programs.

  • Content Creation:

    • Oversee the creation of learning solutions  (including e-learning modules, workshops, gamified solutions, and more) ensuring they are current and effective.

  • Performance Metrics:

    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), across business and customer segments to measure the effectiveness of learning solutions to drive business and outcomes.

  • Compliance and Regulations:

    • Stay updated on regulations and company expectations and ensure that programs are compliant with relevant standards and guidelines.

  • Technology Integration:

    • Leverage technology and e-learning platforms to enhance the delivery of training programs and make them accessible to remote teams.

  • Stakeholder Management:

    • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including  Corp Leaders, Talent Acquisition, Leadership Development etc., to identify and anticipate learning needs and develop solutions to drive measurable impact.

  • Budget Management:

    • Manage the training budget efficiently, ensuring cost-effective training solutions while maintaining a high quality and impactful training experience for our associates. 

  • Innovation:

    • Monitor industry trends and leverages emerging practices to drive improved associate experience and business outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant leadership experience leading large scale and cross-vertical teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience supporting learning initiatives for Technology function.

  • Experience driving change within organizations.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning technologies.

  • Demonstrated organizational savvy and executive presence  - effectively engaging with and influencing a wide range of stakeholders.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and large scale projects at one time in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic thinking and the ability to align training initiatives with business objectives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Culture and change champion - owning and balancing the conflicts between standing still and moving forwards; believes in, helps develop, and cultivates excitement in their workplace culture.

  • Solution-oriented orientation – identifying the source of a question or challenge and providing the right, or a better, way of doing things.

Annual Salary

$195,000.00 - $315,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
