Do you have experience leading multiple projects with pipeline integrity digs for liquids and gas?
 

In this role, you will be a part of the execution of multiple integrity driven programs across the Liquids Pipelines and Gas Transmission and Midstream system. This includes exposures, spans, depth of cover mitigation, casing repairs, and site reclamation. You will provide technical support related to welding, non-destructive examination (NDE), coating, etc. and interacting with subject matter leads and experts.

What you will do:

  • Ensure maintenance programs are designed in accordance with all regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards.

  • Ensure the project management, planning, and construction activities meet internal and external partner needs and requirements.

  • Manage the execution of the design packages, provided by engineering consultants, against the project budget and schedule. This includes reviewing design drawings, technical reports, and purchased material specifications.

  • Provide support for NDE assessment and repair decisions by collaborating with Pipeline Integrity and the NDE field technicians to select the most appropriate repair method.

  • Create and update requisitions (work release contracts / work orders) to ensure proper funding commitments are available for Project Controls cost forecasting purposes.

  • Collaborate with Construction, CCO Outage Coordination, and other partners to schedule line time or outages to minimize throughput restrictions.
     

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or certification.

  • 6 years of progressively responsible experience in the pipeline industry, including a strong working knowledge of pipeline engineering principles, industry standards, governmental regulations, and project management. For candidates without a degree an additional 3 years of related experience is required.

  • Must have exposure to Engineering, Construction and Field operations. This includes a general understanding of pipeline and terminal operations

  • Predict obstacles, challenges, and risks to proactively determine mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.

  • Proven capability to manage multiple assignments and meet established deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations.

  • Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills

  • Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
     

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment with some field work required.

  • Up to 25% travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
