About Us:

We're on a mission to make it possible for every person, team, and company to be able to tailor their software to solve any problem and take on any challenge. Computers may be our most powerful tools, but most of us can't build or modify the software we use on them every day. At Notion, we want to change this with focus, design, and craft.

We've been working on this together since 2016, and have customers like Pixar, Mitsubishi, Figma, Plaid, Match Group, and thousands more on this journey with us. Today, we're growing fast and excited for new teammates to join us who are the best at what they do. We're passionate about building a company as diverse and creative as the millions of people Notion reaches worldwide.

Notion is an in person company, and currently requires its employees to come to the office for two Anchor Days (Mondays & Thursdays) and requests that employees spend the majority of their week in the office (including a third day).

About the role:

As a Growth Programs Manager focused on Customer Acquisition, you will be responsible for driving top of funnel growth across our key growth programs and customer segments: Product Launches, Startups & SMBs, and Students. This is a strategic role that involves identifying opportunities, developing strategies, and leading cross-functional efforts to acquire new users and customers across our B2B and B2C verticals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute these initiatives and contribute to the overall growth of the company.

What you’ll achieve:

  • Ideate, Test, and Scale Customer Acquisition Programs: Lead the development and execution of acquisition strategies across growth programs. You’ll think through channel <> product/segment fit to build top of funnel and revenue growth loops to contribute to Notion’s overall growth.
  • Cross-functional Program Management: You’ll work across marketing, product, data, research, creative, and brand teams to coordinate, promote, and launch initiatives to drive growth. This will span across product launches, channel pilots, viral campaigns, and more.
  • Scale our Test & Learn Culture: You’ll gain an in-depth understanding of our channel portfolio to identify new opportunities, design sound experiments, and iterate to maximize performance.
  • Champion Customer Segment Insights: You’ll leverage qualitative and quantitative research to become the defacto expert on our priority customer segments (Startups, SMBs, Students, Educators, etc). Your insights will influence growth strategy across teams and products.

Skills you’ll need to bring:

  • Proven success in executing acquisition strategies across a variety of growth marketing channels and ideally specialization in 1-2 channels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and leadership skills, capable of inspiring teams with a clear and shared vision of success.
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities and a robust analytical approach, with the ability to leverage data to inform decisions, measure impact, and drive program improvements.
  • An entrepreneurial and high-ownership mindset. You are comfortable handling ambiguity and leading work streams from end-to-end.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively across various departments to achieve unified goals.
  • Obsession with learning about the customer, whether it’s via adhoc interviews, feedback, or research sprints to better understand pain points and needs.

Nice to Haves:

  • Technical background with data querying and visualization experience eg SQL, Amplitude, Hex
  • Experience building and scaling channel partnership programs
  • Startup community relationships eg Venture Capital, Incubators, Accelerators

We hire talented and passionate people from a variety of backgrounds because we want our global employee base to represent the wide diversity of our customers. If you’re excited about a role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every bullet point listed in the job description, we still encourage you to apply. If you’re a builder at heart, share our company values, and enthusiastic about making software toolmaking ubiquitous, we want to hear from you.
