Your Mission

Blizzard is on a quest to find a legendary Product Marketing Manager to join the Overwatch 2 marketing team in Irvine CA. This individual will support senior marketing staff with go-to-market planning and execution for the Overwatch 2 franchise under the supervision of the senior marketing staff.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, collaborative and data driven. They possess a strong grasp of marketing execution and integrating across a breadth of marketing related functions to successfully bring new content to consumers. This
individual is passionate about their craft, savvy about the video game industry - its players and best practices - and interested in delighting players with new Overwatch 2 seasonal content and experiences!

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

What you bring to the table: 

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution of Overwatch seasons and tentpole campaigns across functions – Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Growth Marketing, Digital Commerce Platforms, PR, and more

  • Identify target player segments, develop key product positioning, messaging and copy to be used for various platforms and touchpoints

  • Manage GTM communications across Overwatch 2 various cross-functional teams to ensure collaboration and alignment against business and campaign objectives

  • Work with 1st party partners and partner teams to maximize impact across sales platforms

  • Continually monitor game analytics and leverage research and insights to better understand audiences, monitor campaign performance and provide recommendations to continuously improve processes and activations

  • Work with marketing leaders across regions to coordinate, develop, measure and improve global marketing strategies and tactics

  • Contribute to business and GTM planning by continuously collaborating with Game Development, Product Management and Finance to better understand features strategies and goals across a variety of acquisition and retention initiatives

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years relevant work experience working in Product Marketing, Product Strategy, Brand Marketing or Brand Management

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to effectively manage & complete multiple priorities and projects simultaneously

  • Demonstrated strength in writing and presenting

Extra Points

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration

  • Strong understanding of FPS games and Overwatch 2

  • Familiar with analytical tools and/or quantitative research

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
