JR69891 Facilities Engineer - Mechanical

  • As the primary focal point for project execution for our MSTI Pioneer project, you will be responsible for supervising the mechanical installation and commissioning of various process equipment. This includes cooling towers, compressors, dryers, pumps, heat exchangers, fire pumps, sprinkler systems, general and process exhaust fans, and utility systems like STP, WTP, and ETP, among others.
  • A proven understanding of AutoCAD drawings and the ability to maintain CAD documents is important. You will also be encouraged to fulfill documentation requirements, generate MIS reports, and provide daily construction updates. Regular meetings and site updates with all partners, contractors, and vendors will be part of your routine.
  • Ensuring the safe delivery of projects within defined timelines is paramount. Post-project, you will support the utility department in the operation, maintenance, and solving of equipment. Additionally, you will maintain mechanical drawings and installation procedures in the central document depository.
  • We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and takes accountability, ready to accept new projects and challenges. Handling critical spare part and consumable inventory, providing technical support for the installation, commissioning, and testing of mechanical instruments, and tracking and reporting project progress, risks, and costs will also fall under your purview.
  • Extensive knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD, and CAM is an added advantage. You will ensure that all project scopes are driven to safety standards and requirements, review job plans for high-risk areas during construction, and maintain records on maintenance, testing, and calibrations of equipment, including mechanical, pneumatics, piping, and all facility-related documents.
  • We require applicants to hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Instrumentation Engineering, or any related field of study.
