Job Description

The Senior Manager - FP&A & Commercial Finance position is responsible for providing financial insights and leadership for FORTNA.  This role is responsible for performing financial analysis on monthly & quarterly business performance, budgeting & forecasting, external materials for board of directors & debtholders meetings and strategic financial modeling. This role is also responsible for providing finance support for commercial leadership, including sales, marketing and R&D teams to drive towards achievement of enterprise growth targets. This position reports to the Vice President Finance – FP&A and will regularly interact with FORTNA’s Executive Leadership Team and broader finance team to share best practices and help drive finance initiatives.

  • Support FP&A cadence with monthly & quarterly deliverables
  • Develop tools & processes to drive best practices in finance organization
  • Present financial results and business cases to Executive Leadership Team
  • Partner with commercial leaders to integrate finance with sales and marketing teams
  • Coordinate with accounting leaders to ensure alignment on financial reporting & processes
  • Develop & analyze strategic business cases around investments, M&A and long term scenarios
  • Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc reporting as needed by the management team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
  • General ledger and forecasting experience required
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
  • Excellent analytical skills; ability to analyze, interpret and summarize data
  • Strong work ethic and ability to develop relationships across the organization
  • Detail Oriented, professional demeanor and strong organization skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Proficiency with ERP & BI Platforms
  • Experience with project-based and discrete goods finances
  • Experience with financial software such as Planful, Adaptive & Workday Financials or similar tools

The base salary range for this role is $133,200 to $199,800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.
