Dow has an exciting opportunity for a Latin America Relocation Program Specialist, located in Sao Paulo (Brazil)

About you and this role - What you would do in this role:

In this role, you will enable a best-in-class employee experience through exceptional relocation subject matter expertise, consultation, and service delivery in partnership with external vendors. This role is an escalation point to provide specialist expertise to triage and resolve cases within the tiered service delivery model. Requires working knowledge and experience in the Relocation discipline and receives a moderate level of guidance and direction. You will actively support and often lead process optimization and improvement efforts for the region while partnering with the Global Talent Mobility and Relocation Program Owner on metrics, design of new programs, policies, and procedures to ensure effective implementation and delivery.  You will leverage end to end process documentation, procedures, work instructions, Knowledge Base and Case Management content to resolve inquiries and deliver against relocation programs influencing change to those processes where needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee regional delivery of relocation programs for duration of international assignments, serving as the SME for related moves in support of HR Partners, People Leaders, Assignees, and various HR Solutions disciplines engaged in E2E relocation processes

  • Serve as lead specialist in assigned region with autonomy to administer programs within global framework provided by the Global Talent Mobility and Relocation Program Owner and enables two-way dialog with vendors, other regional Relocation Specialists and Relocation Analyst to drive best-in-class service and Employee Experience 

  • Supports program development to improve the employee experience, balanced with function and geographic specific needs and drivers.

  • Provide regional oversight through facilitation of regional meetings with vendor (Graebel) to discuss current/upcoming cases, and ensure global processes are consistently applied

  • Meet regularly with HR Solutions Leads in other disciplines to ensure up and downstream business processes are actively managed for best possible EX and drives areas for improvement

  • Work with Global Talent Mobility and Relocation Team to identify, prioritize and drive project implementation, supporting and/or leading sub-tracks of global and regional process improvements

  • Provide regional expertise, consultation, and escalation management for HR Partners/Leaders for domestic and international relocation programs

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.

  • 3 years of relevant working experience.

  • English language – speaking, writing, and reading at an advanced/fluent level. Most meetings in the Relocation area of this role are conducted in English so this requires comfort and ability to express opinions/effectively participate.

  • Demonstrates a strong focus on ethics and compliance.

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively across levels of the organization and with external service providers.

  • Shows responsibility, confidentiality and maturity for handling sensitive information.

  • Capable of conducting difficult conversations and working in situations where there is resistance from leaders/employees.

Preferred skills:

  • Previous experience in other HR disciplines.

  • Project management experience.

  • Proven history working in a global team – able to think, lead and collaborate across multiple cultures

  • Able to think and collaborate beyond siloes and possesses an end-to-end mindset with and Employee Experience focus

  • Biased toward continuous improvement, value creation and an owner mentality

  • Track record with supporting continuous improvement efforts

  • Process and detail oriented, strong problem resolution skills and work process execution
