Job Description

The role of Business Practice and Compliance Manager is to provide operational leadership and support to the local compliance program.

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the Managing Director to enhance awareness on our Company´s Values and Standards, Corporate Policies and Compliance Policies, SOPs and Guidance;

  • Lead and oversight of implementation of evolving company's compliance frameworks for local business organizations in collaboration with Legal & Compliance;

  • Serve as “guardian” of all business-related policies and procedures that include compliance controls;

  • Taking a strong and active role in ensuring consistent and effective compliance standards in the organization;

  • Supporting the implementation and operation of tracking / monitoring systems;

  • Facilitating and coordinating the Local Country Committee;

  • Providing guidance to Business Stakeholders on queries relating to the local Code of Practice, Policies and Healthcare Professional (HCP) interactions;

  • Regular self-audits of HCP interactions and documentation / reporting of results;

  • Coordination of local Transfer of Value, EFPIA and other reporting;

  • Providing Procurement with support for the contractual elaboration of contracts and offers;

  • Manage implementation of changes, conduct review sessions with stakeholders, communicate & train on new and revised policies, processes and procedures;

  • Supporting internal investigations as needed;

  • Acting as primary point of contact for Audit and Risk Assessment processes.

  • The Business Practice Manager is responsible also for Company´s Privacy Program.

Key Result Areas & Tasks

  • Supports BOL to achieve realization of local and global compliance standards  

  • Ensures SOP standards and SOP documentation management

  • Point of contact for regional/global Business practices manager to ensure implementation and adaption of global/cluster compliance processes/standards

Marketing support

  • Supports internal customers in the area of market and competitive research

  • Coordinates inputs and data for customer research

  • Meeting/Event management

  • Support with business presentations and business related events

Reporting&Systems

  • Prepares reports and performance analysis, dashboard data interpretation, prepares inputs for business projects

  • Documents, analyses, and designs business processes, as well as oversees the implementation of process improvements

  • Ensures contract management and support procurement processes from the local perspective.

Privacy Steward

  • Promotes awareness of the Company’s Privacy Program and requirements across the local organization.

  • Active member of the Company’s Privacy Community and named by the local Country/Function Lead as a member of the Global Privacy Office (GPO) Steward Network.

  • Acts as a privacy resource for local organization using individual privacy knowledge and leveraging support from GPO.

  • Provides training, as required, and timely and regular updates on Privacy to the local management/leadership teams.

  • Proactively identifies privacy risks and gaps in the local business/function and partners with GPO on appropriate remediation activities.
