The primary function of the Consulting Operations Associate is providing support to the assigned leadership team in areas that span the client delivery life cycle. In this capacity the CS Operations Associate will be responsible for planning, coordination and execution of all aspects of assigned projects through the project life cycle. This position is also responsible for the creation, revision, and implementation of practice and / or regional-specific processes and policies. The CS Operations Associate will also be responsible for supporting regional and / or practice leadership with leadership team meetings, and support the execution of strategic or tactical initiatives.

Essential Duties

  • Provide day to day and ongoing performance management, development, coaching and exit-counseling of employees
  • Provide direct support for time-sensitive and proprietary tasks for Assigned Leadership team members as requested.
  • Work with leadership in addressing risk mitigation, process improvement, communication, and support needs affecting the successful delivery of client solutions.
  • Partner with assigned consulting leadership to develop leadership meeting objectives and agendas, document meeting outcomes, and follow up on related action items. 
  • Oversee ongoing support of practice management reports, staffing processes.
  • Support leadership in execution of strategic or tactical imperatives
  • Develop an understanding of solution offerings and develop relationships with supporting leadership
  • Liaise with internal organizations (human resources, finance, marketing, sales) to develop, implement and maintain efficient and effective support processes in support of leadership imperatives. 
  • Be a resource to CS admins across region, establishing standards and compliant practices (contracts, independence considerations, e.g.) liaising with inter-regional counterparts to share best practices, promoting efficiency and standardization
  • Facilitate definition of project scope and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Manage project objectives, schedule, resources and deliverables.
  • Create and execute project plans.
  • Manage program and project risks and issues. Recognize and determine corrective action to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget and scope.
  • Ensure effective response to and resolution of troubled initiatives on an as-needed basis.
  • Provide oversight and advocacy for the effective efficient use of internal systems.
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technology related area or equivalent experience, required
  • PMP Certification, preferred

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook, required.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to prepare presentations including charts, graphics and tables, speaker notes & handouts, etc., required.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, preferred.

EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects of low to moderate risk

LEADERSHIP SKILLS

  • Ability to supervise, direct, and review the results of projects or assignments
  • Ability to support, affect, and implement change
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to impact and influence a diverse population
  • Previous project or team management experience, preferred
