Job Description

The Marketing Sr. Executive / Executive will be responsible for all aspects of marketing of AirAsia flights, product and portfolios assigned.
 

Reporting to the assigned Marketing Manager - the Marketing personnel will manage marketing initiatives, market development activities, distribution and partnership projects within the portfolio assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation, development and execution of local marketing & market development activities to achieve business objectives;

  • Responsible for briefing campaigns to internal teams and agencies; analysing, providing feedback and approving media recommendations and creative concepts; and overseeing the production of campaign materials to ensure the successful execution of campaigns;

  • Monitor, analyse and report campaign performance results against targets set by the business;

  • Reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with them to align plans for the business’s goals, direction and objectives;

  • Work closely with all functional support teams in PR, Digital & Brand to align campaigns to ensure smooth execution and consistency in communications;

  • Utilise creative channels to maximize promotional opportunities for the AirAsia airline business in a cost-efficient manner to build a consistent level of “buzz” around the brand;

  • Assist to produce content strategies for campaigns for various purposes (social media, EDM, ad copies and visuals etc.)

  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities

  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance

  • Assist with any ad-hoc day to day tasks as required by the team

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Advertising or related discipline

  • Experience within the airline, travel or hospitality industries or e-commerce or similar consumer goods business is ideal but not necessary;

  • A passionate and creative go-getter with the ability to work independently with little supervision;

  • A commercial thinker with a keen sense of market & consumer trends;

  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand data and campaign performance;

  • Previous experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns, advertising campaigns, and social media with meticulous detail to attention;

  • Ability to manage multiple projects, both tactical and strategic in nature in a fast-paced environment - achieving both time and budgetary deadlines;

  • Ability to be agile and adaptable to change 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with Senior Management and Senior external parties
