The role
We are currently seeking expressions of interest for a Technical Advisor to join our team.
As a Technical Advisor you will engage with various tiers within the customer organization to enhance equipment functionality and reliability while maintaining cost efficiency. As a representative of Sandvik, the role involves facilitating communication between Sandvik and the customer to deliver exceptional customer service and support the maintenance of the Sandvik equipment. Additionally, the role includes collaborating with the customer’s Maintenance Management Team to optimize the performance of Sandvik's equipment.
Roster: Dayshift 4 days on | 3 days off, working 11 hours per day, public holidays included.
As this role will revolve around our customer, there is a requirement to live in the Dunedin region where you will arrange your own accommodation. However, relocation assistance packages from the below cities may be provided for the right candidate, further discussion upon application.

Areas of responsibility
Your profile
You possess a relevant trade qualification/ tertiary qualification in Heavy Duty Mechanical or other relevant field, with a proven history in customer service, supervisory or leadership training. Ideally you bring at least 5 years of experience in Project Management and have previous experience with Sandvik maintenance. You have a solid understanding of Mine Health and Safety Regulations and demonstrate strong computer systems literacy. Your exceptional report writing capabilities, coupled with highly developed time management and organisational skills, enable you to meet objectives and benchmarks for ensuring customer satisfaction. Additionally, your superior customer relations and active listening skills make you an invaluable asset to any team.
