Daily challenges

  • Provide day-to-day support for Oracle databases.
  • Understand and follow industry best practices and standards.
  • Provide standardization and consistency across environments.
  • Responsible for ensuring the performance, availability, and security of Oracle instances for DXC customers.
  • Monitoring, assigning and resolving incidents generated by our customer environments, implementing low profile changes that have been organized by the higher level of support.
  • Processing the common mailbox, communicating with the higher level of support in order to resolve more complex issues.

eXperience and skills required

  • University degree or past experience will be considered a plus.
  • Basic understanding of what Oracle Database is.
  • Knowledge in administration of at least one of the following server systems: HP-UX, Linux, AIX, Solaris.
  • Strong work ethics.
  • Strong prioritization and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Service oriented behavior
  • Fluency in English.
  • Team Player.

These will be considered as a BIG аdvantage:

  • Previous IT Experience
  • Understanding of Linux
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Apps – MS Office, O365, Outlook, Teams
