What you'll do: 

As a Senior Associate - Investment Data Analyst at Vanguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining operational efficiency and output quality. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include producing accurate investment data, executing data reporting, recognising improvement opportunities, building a strong network within the Data Management community, developing consistent knowledge of the funds and securities assigned, providing project support, creating and improving Data Management's procedures. Your commitment to these responsibilities will ensure that Vanguard continues to provide top-tier services to its clients.
 

• Produce timely and accurate gold-copy investment data per assigned data domain 

• Execute and analyse a wide variety of daily and periodical data reporting 

• Recognise improvement opportunities based on process knowledge and recommend solutions 

• Build a strong network within the Data Management community 

• Develop consistent knowledge of the funds and securities assigned 

• Provide project support by participating in acceptance and regression testing, system monitoring, and other project-related activities 

• Create, maintain, and improve Data Management's procedures and workflows 

What you bring: 

As our ideal candidate for the Senior Associate - Investment Data Analyst position, you bring along an undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. With at least two years of related work experience under your belt, preferably one year in the financial or investment industry, you are ready to take on this challenging role. Your strong analytical skills coupled with your ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines make you stand out. Your excellent problem-solving skills enable you to perform root cause analysis of data errors effectively. Moreover, your strong interpersonal skills allow you to build networks effortlessly. 

• Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of training and experience 

• Minimum of two years related work experience 

• At least one year of financial or investment industry experience preferred 

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail 

• Ability to work under tight deadlines managing competing priorities 

• Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to perform root cause analysis of data errors 

• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build networks
