We are currently looking for a Senior Fixed Operations Manager to join our team in the West Region. You must reside in the South Los Angeles area. 

Job Summary

Supports assigned dealerships in delivering strong customer experience, retention, profitability, and purchase loyalty by improving operations, sales effectiveness, and OEM representation. Assists the AGM with local logistics for market representation decisions and collaborates with the Dealer Operations Manager to streamline efforts. Partners with other districts to maximize regional and national Accessories, Parts & Service (APS) performance.

Oversees parts and service operations for assigned dealerships to meet district sales targets, conducting regular site visits to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and drive corrective action. Shares best practices and recommends enhancements to programs and policies. District assignments typically include 11–13 dealerships, depending on complexity and geography.

A Day in the Life:     

  • Conducts regular dealership visits to evaluate parts and service operations, review financials, assess inventory, and ensure compliance with company standards. Works with management and the AGM to strengthen financial performance, set goals, and drive P&S sales through improved processes, marketing strategies, and adoption of OEM‑approved programs. Reviews marketing effectiveness, recommends new initiatives, and demonstrates financial impact to gain dealership support.
  • Monitors parts inventory levels, service readiness, staff performance, customer satisfaction metrics, and training needs. Coordinates with regional teams on customer experience, aftersales training, and best‑practice sharing. Develops action plans to resolve customer complaints, improve service quality, and correct staff performance, including advising on coaching, documentation, and personnel changes.
  • Analyzes market conditions, tracks competitor activity, and incorporates market‑expansion opportunities into P&S plans. Supports AGM with market representation issues and may deliver official communications regarding dealer standing. Assists with logistics for dealership openings/closings and participates in district, regional, and national events to support brand and sales efforts.

Who We’re Looking for:  

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required. 
  • A total of 6 years of progressive Marketing and Sales experience for the senior level.
  • A minimum 3 years of analytical experience in various specialties of the automotive industry: prior work may be a combination within a dealership, region, headquarters, or manufacturing facility and may be at the Analyst or Regional Manager level or similar type of position. 
  • At least 2 or more additional years of experience within a previous dealer contact support role such as FSM, FOM or DOM role is required for some district assignments and advancement to the senior level.

Desired: 

  • Progress toward Nissan Way Leadership Academy certification and completion of Nissan Sales & Service Way training; model line certification is preferred.
  • Desirable qualifications include prior supervisory and sales experience. Must be proficient with office software, sales systems, and able to manage workload independently in a virtual environment.
  • Candidates should demonstrate strong customer focus, objectivity, and relationship‑building skills, along with the ability to influence others through credibility, clear communication, and follow‑through.
  • Requires strong prioritization, analytical thinking, problem‑solving, and resilience in overcoming obstacles while presenting ideas effectively.

Physical Requirements

Travel:
More than 75% day and overnight domestic travel.

Salary Range:

$97,745.00 - $172,830.00

Salary Range Estimate: Annual Salary: (Minimum to Maximum of  Salary Range noted here). This compensation range represents the minimum and maximum base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that it is uncommon for an employee to be placed at either end of the range.  Rather, an employee’s actual base salary generally may fall somewhere in between and reflect the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, and market norms.  Additionally, pay may be based on comparisons to the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles.
