  • 5+ years of experience in all phases of SDLC involving Analysis, Design, Development, Deployment, Testing, and Implementation of Web & Client/ Server & cloud applications.
  • 5+ years’ experience in IT with demonstrated success in supporting and delivering scientific applications, COTS applications and custom-built solutions.
  • Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or Trello.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving abilities and communication skills. 
  • Innovative and inquisitive nature to ask questions, offer bold ideas and challenge the status quo.
  • Agility to learn new tools and processes. 
  • Knowledge of cGXP and 21CFR Part11 standards.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for the controlled production support and life cycle management for multiple applications used by Pharmaceutical Development and Global supplies within GPS.
  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with Business and IT Plan functions to develop solutions for business problems including defining business requirements, provide project timelines and budget, develop acceptance criteria, testing, training, and change management plans.
  • Contributes heavily towards developing a plan for development activities and translates those into actionable projects. These include releases, required modifications and discretionary enhancements to support the application life cycle.
  • Accountable for managing day to day operational support, enabling the business to scale while improving key performance indicators impacting their efficiencies and improving overall customer experience. Defined both long-term strategies and short-term/immediate resource needs.
  • Accountable for delivering on project implementations and operational support commitments.
  • Collaborate directly with the business clients, IT Business Partners and other IT functions on delivery of digital capabilities.
  • Monitor IT service provider resource consumption, review demand and change requests for support work related to custom applications.
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Requires advanced knowledge applicable to a wide range of work in own function and thorough knowledge of other functions, typically gained through a university degree and 6-8 years of experience.
  • May lead initiatives related to continuous improvement or implementation of new technologies. Works independently on most deliverables.
  • Responsible for the direct management of a team including results/outcomes, goal setting, performance management, coaching.
  • Has significant input into decisions related to hiring, performance reviews, promotions, and compensation actions.
  • People manager level with supervisory responsibility for Individual Contributor and People Manager positions
  • Responsible for a large sub-function or multiple teams doing similar work.
  • Demonstrates ability to build and leverage relationships through diplomacy with a broader focus within the Function.​
  • Articulates and presents complex information clearly and concisely across all levels. Ability to demonstrate in-depth knowledge and expertise thereby establishing a strong reputation for themselves and the team.​
  • Participates in decision making and brings a variety of strong views and perspective to achieve team objectives. ​
  • Looks for challenging opportunities and focus on building strong capabilities. Encourages and coach others to do the same.
  • Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures and knowledge within the team. Leads in analyzing current states, deliver strong recommendations in understanding complexity in the environment, and the ability to execute to bring complex solutions to completion.​
