Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration. You will be responsible for scripting and monitoring automation execution, managing incidents with a focus on service restoration, and acting as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. Additionally, you will manage the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation, ensuring smooth operations of the cloud environment. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Ensure the deployment, configuration, and management of cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications. - Execute cross-technology administration tasks, including OS, databases, and virtual networks. - Script and monitor automation execution to streamline operations. - Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. - Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents/requests. - Manage the rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - Good To Have Skills: Experience with MySQL and MongoDB. - Strong understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms. - Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Hands-on implementing various machine learning algorithms such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, and clustering algorithms. - Solid grasp of data munging techniques, including data cleaning, transformation, and normalization to ensure data quality and integrity. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
