SLGI has bold ambitions and is guided by driving financial security and successful retirement outcomes for Canadians. SLGI markets its funds through institutional and retail distribution channels. The institutional channel works directly with plan sponsors, consulting partners and group advisory market for DC plans, and affiliated asset managers for DB plans, Insurance channel, Foundations and Endowments. We also work very closely with our partners in Sun Life GRS and their rollover business, which are important distribution channels for the institutional business. Retail channels include IIROC, MFDA and MGA market.

As a result of internal role change, we are seeking to fill the position of Director, Institutional Business Development and Client Relationships, Ontario. The mandate of this role is to lead institutional relationships, service institutional clients and undertake business development efforts in the Ontario market.
This role is located in Toronto. The candidate will report directly to the Head of Institutional Business for SLGI (located in Montreal).

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
