About the team
Zillow's Employee Service Operations (ESO) team, part of the Employee Service Center, ensures efficient HR operations through end-to-end process expertise, product partnerships, and continuous improvements. We provide seamless support for HR processes, promote cross-functional collaboration, and enhance efficiency by understanding interconnected tasks across People Org Centers of Excellence (COEs). By closely partnering with the Product team, we align technology solutions with the evolving needs and workflows of the People Org.
The HR Process Analysts on the ESO team support Core HR initiatives, COE programs, and annual routines. They focus on centralization and continuous improvements, while also managing responsibilities related to M&A, international operations, talent rewards, talent success, and product scrum teams.
The Department: The Employee Service Center (ESC) team at Zillow provides comprehensive support to employees and partners by managing cases, ensuring timely responses, and tracking bugs and enhancement requests. They use data from cases to identify common issues and collaborate with COEs to improve the overall employee experience.
About the role
Join our team as an HR Process Analyst and play a crucial role in leading centralization efforts, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and streamlining internal processes. You will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with various teams, and make a significant impact on our operational efficiency.
You Will Get To:
- Lead the assessment and centralization of tasks from shared services to the Employee Service Center teams.
- Complete in-flight centralization work and maintain the centralization backlog.
- Develop a comprehensive intake, prioritization, and transition plan for centralization efforts.
- Evaluate and quantify time savings achieved from centralization and automation.
- Collaborate with the ESC managers and product team to identify process automation opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, aligning with HR and tech stakeholders on requirements and solutions.
- Track progress on continuous improvement requests, ensuring visibility and clear communication with team members.
- Document processes, create training materials, and lead knowledge transfer sessions for the Employee Service Center.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate inefficient internal processes.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $68,900.00 - $110,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of project management experience, with a focus on process optimization or change management.
- Proven experience gathering and analyzing requirements, documenting processes, and delivering optimized solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across teams.
- Experience in HR operations or shared services is preferred.
- Proficiency with tools such as ServiceNow or similar workflow management systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a centralized/shared services environment.
