Job Description

Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Program Analyst - Informatics to join our team, supporting a large project at the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This role involves supporting the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) in the analysis and evaluation of healthcare program effectiveness, conducting systematic reviews to assess and improve the quality of current and future VHA programs. The Senior Program Analyst will assist in executing program operations, provide input on program evaluation and improvement, and assist in the development of program reports to enhance productivity and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support VHA in analyzing and evaluating healthcare program effectiveness.
  • Conduct systematic reviews to assess the quality of current and future VHA programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Measure success, outcomes, and improvements of programs.
  • Assist VHA in executing program operations to meet established goals and objectives.
  • Provide input on program evaluation and improvement to enhance organizational and project performance.
  • Assist in the identification of program resources and develop comprehensive program reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure program alignment with VHA’s mission and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in program analysis, evaluation, and management.
  • Proven experience in a large-scale integrated Health Care System.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience with substantive programs focused on Veterans’ health care and outreach.
  • Certification in Project Management or Program Evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

Eligibility:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.

Compensation:

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The proposed salary range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000.
