Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Level 2, 3, or 4) to support the BSC Value Steam Integration External Supply Chain Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will be tracking and ordering parts, engaging in cross functional collaboration activities, and working to uncover innovative ways to drive the business forward.

We are looking for a candidate with strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong problem-solving skills.

The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned. This position in Fulfillment will support factory, factory, field, and supply chain priorities as well.

Successful candidates will work with a team of experienced SCMA’s (Supply Chain Management Analysts) to schedule and coordinate the delivery of Buyer Furnished Equipment to support airplane build and delivery across the Boeing South Carolina and Everett 787 BCA programs. This scope will include purchasing for systems, structures, interiors as well as materials and standards commodity.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Applies change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies Supply chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the supply chain

  • Coordinates with company customer support representatives, contract administration, purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, traffic, warehousing, suppliers and customers

  • Incorporates Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into a production plan

  • Coordinates part number attributes

  • Verifies the released engineering BOM has been correctly implemented in the material planning system

  • Releases and maintains orders

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Reports schedule adherence issues. Applies developed solutions to inventory plans

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess and obsolete inventories

  • Creates schedules for products and services

  • Coordinates and supports process improvements

  • Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.


This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in supply chain or materials management

  • 1+ years of experience with industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)

  • 1+ years of experience collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, as well as interpreting data and presenting analysis and recommendations to management

  • 1+ years of experience working in a position where priorities changed frequently and Customer Service was critical to the team’s success

  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 3+ years of experience in the Aerospace or Manufacturing industry

  • 3+ years of experience in Lean Manufacturing

  • Experience working base line supply chain packages

Typical Education/Experience: 

Associate (Level 2):
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Mid-Level (Level 3):
Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Senior (Level 4):

Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range for associate level: $62,050 - $83,950

Summary pay range for mid-level: $76,500 - $103,500

Summary pay range for senior level: $91,800 - $124,200
