About the Role:  

As an Assessment Operations Coordinator at Andela you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all our processes that allow Talents to join the network work seamlessly. You will be involved in the day-to-day assessment and pipeline operations and maintain correspondence with candidates and recruiting partners where required throughout the assessment process. Your main goal is to ensure that candidates are moving forward in the funnel.  

As part of your role, you will evaluate our assessment operation and will be expected to identify areas for improvement and ensure that our assessment framework meets business objectives. This position requires a keen analytical mindset and a passion for driving efficiency and effectiveness in our procedures.  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Understand the pipeline, role classification based on market trends and client needs and expediting high-priority roles.  

  • Understand the level of urgency in BAU responsibilities and managing blockers.  

  • Coordinate interviews for high-priority roles as soon as possible and ensure we have enough resources and slots available to cover roles on demand. 

  • Support the training and onboarding of team members on assessment procedures and tools.  

  • Assist the Assessment Team Lead in the development and implementation of assessment strategies. 

  • Help with quality control by optimizing various talent assessment processes and executing new initiatives when required.  

  • Document and maintain processes and keep documentation up to date 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally and gather feedback from stakeholders to continuously help develop and refine assessment frameworks and methodologies. 

 

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of relevant work in a generalist operational role in a start-up or scale up or as a consultant in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Embrace change and adapt quickly. 

  • Think outside the box and can break complex problems into smaller ones. 

  • Have excellent written and verbal communication in English. 

  • Have a curious nature and be mission driven. 

  • Execute processes and take a customer or team member escalations on yourself and see it through to resolution.
