Job Description

As a Integration Specialist RI, you will be responsible for delivering integration services to link technology from Philips Radiology Informatics (RI) with systems from other leading vendors in order to deliver complete solutions to healthcare organizations. 

Your role:

  • Capture and document requirements: Interview customers, map workflows, and produce clear requirement documents.

  • Design solutions and interfaces: Evaluate alternatives and create technical and clinical interface designs that meet customer needs.

  • Scope and commercial preparation: Define project scope and level of effort, prepare and qualify integration service offers, and create work packages and quotes.

  • Plan and build test environments: Develop test plans and set up test environments for unit, system, and integration testing.

  • Develop and deploy solutions: Convert requirements into specifications and units of work, then implement solutions by developing components or configuring existing products.

  • Stabilize, document and transition: Execute tests, identify and resolve issues, define service procedures, document the final solution, and hand it over to the service organization for ongoing maintenance.

You're the right fit if you have :

  • A relevant university degree or master’s in IT, a technical discipline, or a related field

  • 4–5+ years of experience in a similar role (developer experience preferred)

  • Strong expertise in database design, development and administration (Oracle DBA skills are a strong plus)

  • Experience developing integration components using tools and languages such as Visual Studio, .NET, Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, C/C++, COM-based interfaces, web interfaces, XML, SOAP, etc.

  • Familiarity with healthcare standards and frameworks, including DICOM, HL7 and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE)

  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Strong verbal and written English communication skills

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
