What You Will Get To Do:

The Technical Operator in this position supports all technical aspects focused on priority mission requirements.  This includes but not limited to conducting technical debriefs, technical operations in support of cyber operations management as necessary to Sponsor’s mission. Officer drafts and coordinates correspondences, as well as briefs and communicates operational planning to senior levels and other mission partners.  Officer may also travel in support of operational objectives

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• An active TS/SCI with Poly clearance University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or 10 years of relevant IC experience

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience providing technical operations support

• Demonstrated experience conducting blended operations with Sponsor or client partners to include demonstrated knowledge of operational environments and security

• Technical foundation and experience in cyber operations, understanding of computer networks, tradecraft and tools

• Demonstrated experience working with the field client partners in support of Sponsor operations

• Demonstrated ability to integrate into a multi-discipline team and take a team-based approach to solving complex client problems

• Demonstrated experience traveling OCONUS in support of Sponsor operations

• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex mission critical ideas to audiences with varied technical and operational background, and at varying seniority levels of the Sponsor’s organization

• Experience supporting efforts involving vulnerability research, quality control, or reverse engineering of software products

• Demonstrated technical expertise in computer and network operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux, OSX, Citrix, etc.), hardware/network management tools, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, SMTP, TLS/SSL, etc.)

• Working knowledge of computer network infrastructure devices (routers, switches, etc.) and the application of those devices in enterprise networks

• Working knowledge of wireless communications technology to include WiFi, Bluetooth, RF

• Knowledge of network security concepts and the application of those concepts in SOHO and enterprise networks

• Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS to support mission requirements

 

These Skills Would Be Nice To Have:

• Highly Desirable – Extensive experience planning, conducting and managing technical blended operations

• Highly Desirable – Understanding of business culture and professional communications with globally significant technology industries

• Highly Desirable – Extensive experience working in and understanding of cyber capability development and requirements

• At least 3 years of experience supporting, enabling, or conducting blended operations

• At least 3 years of experience supporting technical collection programs

• At least 3 years of experience supporting the development of technical collection capabilities

• At least 3 years of experience supporting technical reverse engineering and/or vulnerability research programs

• Demonstrated expertise in drafting and coordinating correspondence

• Have knowledge of or demonstrated experience working with client partners, including relationships between offices and groups, field officers and how and when to write operational correspondences

• Have an understanding of the design and engineering of technology directly related to the enablement of cyber operations

• Experience working with Sponsor’s mission partners and leveraging resources to support Cyber Enabling missions

• Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, work both independently and collaboratively, and exercise sound personal judgement in unfamiliar or ambiguous situations

• Demonstrated experience working with field officers

• Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex mission-critical ideas to audiences with varied technical and operational backgrounds, and at varying seniority levels of the Sponsor’s organization

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale technical operations to include development of technical tools, coordination with mission partners and drafting operational approval documentation for senior leadership

• Experience with reading and interpreting technical design and engineering documentation

• Experience traveling OCONUS in support of Sponsor and partners mission requirements

• Ability to attain specific Sponsor certifications

$119,800 - $263,600
