Position Summary: The Cardiovascular Nurse Coordinators will serve as a resource for patients, physicians, and staff, performing in the role of education, quality improvement champion and consultant for patients with cardiovascular disease. This position is able to function independently and demonstrate self-motivation. Reinforce adherence with best practice guidelines. Work closely with the AU Health faculty and management team to analyze data and formulate Quality Improvement projects based on findings.

Position Requirements: Current Georgia Registered Nursing License (RN) or a qualifying multi-state compact license master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a master's Degree in Healthcare / Business Administration, or Public Health complemented with a BSN, but must obtain a Master's degree within 3 years of hire. 3 years or more of experience in Cardiovascular acute care nursing. Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS).

Preferred Requirements: 5 years or more of experience in Cardiovascular acute care nursing
