Job Description
The ideal candidate will possess a terminal degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field, with a strong emphasis on IT management. This position is designed for experienced professionals who are passionate about teaching in a Christian higher education setting and mentoring graduate students in advanced IT management concepts, strategies, and practices.

- Develop and deliver course content for graduate-level Information Technology Management classes.
- Provide instruction in areas such as IT strategy, project management, cybersecurity management, IT governance, and digital transformation.
- Engage students through interactive and innovative teaching methods.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
- Stay current with advancements in IT management practices and technologies and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure course content aligns with the program’s objectives and goals.
- Provide academic advising and support to students as needed.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and review.
- Support the institution’s Christian mission, including attendance a chapel services, scheduled or called meetings, commencement programs, and Faculty Forum meetings.
- Maintains a strong interest in the pursuit of knowledge and shares it with students and scholars.
- Promotes the discipline on and off campus and attracts students to the field.
- Participates in academic unit meetings and cooperates with other members of the Faculty.
- Identifies with professional organizations and professionals of the discipline at all educational levels.
- Assists in recruiting new Faculty members within the academic unit.
- Assists students by continually monitoring and evaluating students’ progress and making appropriate referrals to academic and personal support services, as necessary, to meet student needs.
- Demonstrates excellence in teaching.
Qualifications:
- Terminal degree (Ph.D., D.Sc., DBA, or equivalent) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT management, including but not limited to IT strategy, project management, cybersecurity, and digital transformation.
- Prior teaching experience at the graduate level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive academic community.
- Ability to work effectively in both in-person and online learning environments.
