What you will do

The IT Field Engineer will support the customer’s Genetec Video systems across their store estate. In addition, this person will represent Sensormatic in our relations with this customer in connection with all aspects of the video services we provide. Serving as the embedded subject matter expert for our technology, assisting with install and config escalations, and liaising between Sensormatic and the customer to produce reporting as required.çç

How you will do it

  • Monitor, manage, and maintain the Walmart Genetec Video system from within the customer ESOC
  • Develop, recommend, and implement process improvements based on proven results
  • Manage IP changes, equipment upgrades, and small-volume projects (Inside Sales
  • Implementation Support)
  • Serve as an intra-departmental expert on hardware, software, and video setups
  • Serve as a flexible resource, capable of performing work with & for other teams when necessary
  • Monitor and report on quarterly service provider metrics
  • Work as appointed SME of selected product offerings
  • Other items, as assigned

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
