So what does a FP&A Enabler do? Think of yourself as one of the people who will provide analysis of trends and forecasts, perform variance analysis and recommend actions for optimization. 

 

As a FP&A Enabler, you will:

Financial Advisory & Business Partnership

  • Recommend actions to drive profitability by collating, analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials

  • Act as a business partner with Operations, Client Services and Workforce and key management in identifying and driving ways to improve profitability. 

  • Support Senior Management Team, Department Heads and Site VPs/Directors with in-depth analysis and providing financial insights

  • Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives

  • Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes

  • Drive implementation of initiative, strategies and policies to ensure attainment of goals

  • Motivate, educate and develop team members & stakeholders (operations, department heads, Client Services, WorkForce) with ultimate objective of enabling the company to reach its short and long term goals.

Process Improvements

  • Identify and drive process improvements involving cross functions to enable efficient and effective end-to-end process that will drive improvement in profitability

Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis 

  • Perform financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting 

  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budget and forecast 

  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support

  • Tracking and reporting of operational metrics that impacts profitability. Provide visibility of financial impact of operations metrics.

  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis

Do you have what it takes to become a FP&A Enabler

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance is good to have, but not required

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in any of the following roles: Financial Planning & Analysis, Operations in BPO setting, Business Analytics, Business Finance, Finance & Accounting and Revenue Analysis. 

  • A proficiency in Macro/Database/Access/Basic Programming and a Masters in Business Administration, is a plus but not required

  • Certified public accountant, preferred but not required

  • Wizard when it comes to analytics, someone who has a high attention to detail, and someone with excellent written and verbal skills.

  • Good at problem-solving and result driven.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Can communicate effectively. Communicate thoughts, ideas, information and messages completely and accurately.
