The Boeing Company is currently seeking highly motivated, creative and digitally-savvy Experienced Engineering Technical Specialists - Product Definition Systems & Tools. That position is assigned to the BCA Digital Engineering team to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the engineering value stream; this position will work cross-functionally and across organizational boundaries to accomplish BCA engineering business objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and have demonstrated experience working with multiple engineering tools related to electrical engineering as well as Product Lifecycle Management and digital visualization tools. They will also have a high degree of customer focus and ability to clearly share knowledge regarding BCA's engineering processes and tools.
In this position you will work directly with the engineering teams and provide technical support on the processes and tools deployed on our Boeing Commercial Airplane programs. This includes working with the End Users to understand and document their issues within our enterprise issues management system and then find solutions to get them back to productivity as soon as possible. You will be working in collaboration with Boeing Designated process and tools Experts, the product teams and IT to troubleshoot and identify root cause and resolve the issues. You will Implement robust reporting mechanisms to provide status of all open issues and metrics for all tickets and ensure SLA is met.
This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.
Position Responsibilities:
Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards
Provides informal training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs
With a customer focus mindset, provides direct Engineering processes and tools end-user support resolving issues and communicating productivity enhancements and procedures; continually enhances end-user support services
Identifies and validates user access roles, produces job aids and knowledge articles and understands system interoperability.
Provides targeted software functionality and regression test services to BCA prior to major IT software releases
Provides ad-hoc assistance to the Design Engineer community to accomplish their business priorities and maintains vital business relationships between business units, programs, IT, IT suppliers, IT support and training organizations.
Leads development, documentation, implementation and consultation of the application of, and compliance with, requirements for the use of engineering tools, processes and standards. Guides training and provides subject matter expertise in the utilization of processes, tools and integration of engineering designs.
Guides configuration management, coordination of changes, assessments of compliance.
Represents Company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
Directs the development, maintenance and distribution of engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
Leads the collection, analysis and validation of engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
Proficiency in multiple tools mentioned below in the area of electrical design.

Demonstrate strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Be fluent in written and spoken English, and have high degree of proficiency with MS Office tools to prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, proposals, and Statements of Work.
Typical Education/Experience:
Electrical Engineering degree and typically 12 + years' related work experience, a master’s degree and 10+ years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
