Retail Space Management Representative

The RSM Representative job exists to provide support to the Sales Team and to assist and educate Major Western Specialty Accounts, Farm & Ranch, Farm & Fleet Accounts.  The RSM representative professionally provides expertise at store level with visual merchandising, product education, advertising, promotions and replenishment. 

Responsibilities:

  • With minimal supervision, organizes and maintains a travel schedule of Kontoor in-store accounts on a regular basis, with ultimate responsibility for the effective and successful presentation of the Wrangler and Lee brands in store accounts. 
  • Develops relationships with key personnel in Kontoor accounts, including buyers, regional managers, store managers, and sales associates. Advises accounts regarding visual product merchandising and product mix  to maximize sales. 
  • Educates personnel at retail level regarding product, replenishment, advertising, and promotions. May create and deliver training materials, sales contests, and sales promotions as necessary to customize to account's needs. 
  • Completes and files reports regarding sales objectives for regular scheduled in store visits in a timely manner.  Presents suggestions to next level management for revisions to product mix, presentation, etc. 
  • Assists with special events as needed, including set up, sales, inventory control, presentations, customer support, and more. 
  • Leads Product Initiatives & some Inventory Control 
  • Monitor and promote favorable POS Placement and Fixture Integrity.  Customizes fixturing, product placement, and product presentation by account.  Independent authority to make merchandising decisions within territory, depending upon situation. 
  • Read and analyze selling and inventory reports as needed

Leadership:

  • Strong organizational skills. 
  • Strong communications skills (oral, written, and presentation). 
  • Proficiency in latest version of Microsoft 
  • Strength in problem solving, consulting, and diplomacy with sales/service 

Requirements:

  • Years of Related Professional Experience: None Required 
  • Educational/Position Requirements:   
    • High School Diploma 
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
