Job Summary
• This role is responsible for leading a team of individual contributors helping them manage operational processes while monitoring performance and providing regular reports to senior management. The role defines and tracks KPIs, develops action plans for improvement, and leads projects related to operational process enhancement. The role maintains process documentation, implements quality control measures, and stays updated on industry trends and best practices.
Responsibilities
• Manages a team of individual contributors and monitors their performance while ensuring the availability of tools and resources to support both the team and the operational processes.
• Defines and tracks key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of operational processes, and develops action plans to address performance gaps.
• Facilitates the adoption of process changes within the organization by communicating changes effectively, training employees, and managing resistance.
• Manages resources, including budgets, personnel, and technology, to support process improvement initiatives effectively.
• Leads projects related to process improvement, from planning and implementation to monitoring and reporting.
• Creates and maintains clear and up-to-date documentation of operational processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflow diagrams.
• Prepares and delivers regular reports to senior management on the status of operational processes, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement.
• Provides training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge in process management.
• Implements quality control measures to ensure that operational processes meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stays informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to operational process management.
Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, operations management, project management, process improvement, or a related field.
