This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview
The Corporate Treasury Department is responsible for corporate finance, financial risk management, and liquidity for the global enterprise, and is diverse in background and professional experience. Responsibilities includes debt and equity capital structure management, bank and lending relationships, rating agency management, cash forecasting, securities repurchases, and M&A financing, while team members also collaborate with colleagues in the Cable, NBCU, and Sky business units. The Corporate Treasury team's actions impact financing and cash management decisions at all scales of the business. Candidates should have an interest in capital markets, corporate finance, prioritizing team collaboration, and developing Excel skills.
Role Description
Are you passionate about corporate finance, financial markets, problem solving, developing technical skills, and following economic and market events? Do you have an interest in the tech, media, and telecom industry and players? Are you interested in wondering how Fortune 50 corporations operate on a daily basis? As an Intern on the Corporate Treasury team, you will help team members streamline functions, automate tasks, research market trends, and develop projects relating to team financing and forecasting responsibilities.
What are some interesting problems the student will work on?
In your role, you will assist in presenting weekly corporate cash forecasts to the Corporate Treasurer, generate wires relating to debt and equity repurchases, follow market trends and events, specifically in the rate markets and TMT industry. Developing Excel skills to improve spreadsheet functionality and streamlining department tasks to make us operate efficiently is certainly encouraged!
Where can this student make an impact?
You will be collaborating with members in Corporate, NBCU, Sky, and Cable. Being exposed to our diverse business can allow the student to understand what they like and don’t like in their career development path. Contributing to daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financing projects and processes, along with ad-hoc projects can allow the student to contribute in a wide variety of activities. Success in this role is characterized by an eagerness to learn, developing as a team player, and keeping an open mind. Your work will be visible to the CFO and Treasurer while reporting to senior members of the Corporate Treasury team.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cash forecasting/management
Interest expense and debt metric modeling
Debt and derivative analyses
Capital market settlements
Process and reporting improvements
Liability and balance sheet management (including stock and bond repurchases and issuances)
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Base Pay: $25.00Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
