The Senior IT Project Manager will report to the Project Management Lead. The purpose of this role is to contribute operationally to achieve the business and IT objectives by delivering project management services across a variety of projects. The Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the required quality standard.

What we are looking for:

• Proven background and experience in project management with minimum 10 years of working experience in MNC

• Worked within similar environments of major high value, critical projects.

• Proven background in delivering projects on time and within budget.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently

• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience in insurance industry is a plus

• Candidate with less experience would be considered as IT Project Manager

On the job you will:

The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. He/She will be delivering day-to-day ‘hands on’ tasks such as defining project scope, preparing documentations such as business cases and project status reports, and managing stakeholders. The Project Manager will be responsible for allocating and utilizing resources in an efficient manner.

• Steer and execute projects throughout the project life cycle (initiation, development, implementation).

• Involve and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure smooth delivery of project deliverables.

• Plan, schedule and coordinate with respective parties on defining project scope, resource requirements, cost estimate and timeline.

• Prepare and update project documentation eg business case, resources forecast.

• Identify and document potential risks; carry out risk assessment with Risk and relevant parties.

• Review and challenge reasonableness of resource and cost estimate.

• Monitor risks, project financials, resources and timeline for multiple projects.

• Ensure the completion of projects within budget, required quality and on schedule.

• Proactive in communicating with stakeholders on incidents, potential risks or issues.

• Provide workaround and alternatives to resolve issues in order to stay on track with the project goals.

• Proactive in identifying opportunities for earlier delivery of projects and associated benefits.

• Facilitate meetings with participants at all levels, including senior executives

• Experience in handling dynamics between different teams; directing project members to resolve issue
