Senior Credit Analyst - ABL

What you'll do:

The Credit Analyst position is responsible for supporting the management activities and growth efforts of the Technology Banking group’s Asset Based Lending (ABL) credit portfolio. This individual will directly support and assist the Portfolio Manager(s) and Relationship Manager(s) in:
1. All activities required of sound portfolio management and
2. The underwriting of credit transactions.

What we are looking for:

  • Proactively seek workflow tasks from the Portfolio Manager(s) and Relationship Manager(s)

  • Complete accurate financial spreads, borrowing base calculations, financial covenants, and portfolio review related reports

  • Identify, monitor, and provide thoughtful financial and collateral trend analysis

  • Assist in the underwriting of credit transactions for new and existing clients

  • Maintain a current status on tickler reporting items

Qualifications

  • College degree (BA or BS) from a four (4) year college or university

  • ​ 1-2 years experience working in a commercial bank credit setting.

  • Intermediate-level knowledge of MS Office, in particular Word and Excel

  • Understanding of financial statement analysis

  • Possess strong analytical, presentation, communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills

  • Detail-oriented and with ability to self-motivate and complete time sensitive tasks without supervision

  • Interested in working with venture-backed technology companies

Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $33.00 for Costa Mesa, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
