Linklaters is looking for an outstanding Italian law student in their final years of university (laureando/a) to join its Milan-based team for a three-month internship in the Banking practice of the Milan office from January 2025.

The Firm’s Banking team advises banks and other financial institutions, companies and governments on domestic and international bank financing transactions across every industry, commercial, financial and governmental sector. The Italy office Banking practice areas cover:

  • Banking and finance

  • Projects/PPP

  • Structured finance

  • Capital Markets

  • Regulatory

  • Restructuring and insolvency

  • Energy

  • Environmental

Key responsibilities will include:

  • legal research and analysis

  • assisting in the preparation of memos and document review

  • supporting in drafting court documents and other legal documentation

Key requirements:

  • Law degree (currently enrolled in the fifth year);

  • Excellent academic credentials from an Italian University (please include the list of exams together with a motivation letter);

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Proficiency level in English;

  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
