Analyst, Department of Defense SkillBridge (Intern) 

Exiger Commercial Solution’s is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as a Analyst intern. In this role, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive reports by leveraging web-based compliance tools, open-source resources, and client-provided information. You will conduct thorough research using a variety of public records, databases, and other online sources, ensuring the delivery of clear, concise, and accurate reports to our clients.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Create and determine contents of reports using a combination of web-based compliance tools, open-source resources, and client-provided information.
  • Write clear, concise, and thoroughly researched reports for clients using a variety of public records, databases, and other web-based sources and tools.
  • Utilize judgement and best practices to complete research, writing and editing of cases of different products, scopes, jurisdictions, and complexity.
  • Proficient in research methodology, tools, and processes.
  • Determine and escalate identified risk factors to case manager.
  • Successfully manage case lifecycle, personal workload, and pipeline.
  • Communicate effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
  • Collaborate and work within a team to achieve desired outcomes.

Knowledge & Skills 

  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent writing and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Rigorous attention to detail, and ability to flag potential risks via identification of abnormalities, inconsistencies, and patterns in data or research findings
  • Prior experience with Compliance organizations within a Financial Institution, or experience working with Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) a plus
  • Self-driven, with the ability to deliver high quality work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strict deadlines.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize several projects and assignments simultaneously.
  • Organizational and time management competency required.
  • Team player with high level of initiative and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently; takes ownership of tasks and follow up to ensure that they are successfully brought to completion.
  • Ability to utilize technology to solve problems.
