The impact you have in this role

As a Finance Plant Controller for 3M Västervik plant in Sweden, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.  Here, you will make an impact by:

• controlling production costs
• preparing yearly operating plan, quarterly and monthly estimates
• managing month-end closing
• presenting financial results to management
• calculating unit costs
• handling AFE /new investments assessment
• evaluating cost saving programs
• analysing profitability of investments projects
• providing financial support to production and other functions

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Economic or related education
• 3-5 years experience in finance (preferably controlling in manufacturing organizations)
• Knowlegde of international financial standards
• very good analytical skills
• very good English
• knowledge of MS Office (especially excel)
• experience in working with ERP systems (SAP or other)
• proactive approach to job responsibilities
• ability to work under time pressure in dynamic environment
• good communications skills
