The Senior Corporate Workday Payroll Manager will report to the Senior Director of Payroll Operations. The incumbent will function as a subject matter expert on executive payroll, and Ex-Pats.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Executive Compensation, Benefits, and Human Resources on processing all executive compensation payments.
  • Responsible for setting up internal meetings to review payments in advance, and insuring approval of payments from gross to net prior to final payroll settlement.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on ex-pats, including working with EY to insure proper withholding of Hypo, federal, state, local taxes. and production of W2’s.  Compile summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, and nontaxable wages.
  • Payroll project lead on annual MIP bonus processing, and Restricted Stock vesting’s. Insuring MIP bonuses are processed accurately including verification of deferred compensation.
  • Communicate with business partners to enforce established deadlines for payroll processing and expedite resolution of required changes/discrepancies to guarantee timely payroll.
  • Maintain accurate payroll information and records by designing systems to collect, calculate and enter complex data into Workday Payroll Software.
  • Support an employee-oriented organizational culture emphasizing quality, continuous improvement, collaboration and high performance.
  • Remain accessible, visible and ready to serve as a coach for internal colleagues and employees with questions on Payroll.
  • Correct any outstanding payroll issues post-processing by conferring with management on an accurate resolution and making documented adjustments as required.
  • Analyze and review current payroll procedures and recommend and implement policies and procedures for maximum efficiency. Assign duties and tasks to available support staff as needed.
  • Manage highly confidential payroll information in accordance with policy to protect operations and employee confidence. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications, establishing professional networks and participating in relevant payroll organizations.

Education Requirements:

  • 4-year Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred.

Formal Experience Requirements:

  • Through knowledge of payroll policies, practices, and systems.
  • 3 years progressive experience in processing executive payroll, and Ex-Pats required.
  • 9+ years of payroll experience in heavy and fast paced environment required with 2+ years of managerial experience (Manager, or Supervisor). • Shared Service Center experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Workday Payroll is required.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Expert communication skills to navigate and coach employees/colleagues at all levels on complex, time-sensitive and highly confidential payroll issues requiring consistent ethics and professionalism.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems using independent judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or law.
  • Must possess demonstrated ability to handled multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize work with competing demands and balanced patience while focusing on accuracy and attention to detail.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$95,400 - $159,000
