Head of Supplier Management

Enfield

Full Time, 12-month fixed term contract with possible extension, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 17.00pm

Salary up to £55,000 per annum

About the Role:

Due to a new contract win we are seeking a Head of Supplier Management to join our team. As a Head of Supplier Management you will be working for a Central Government accommodation contract. You will report into the Contract Delivery Director.

As a Head of Supplier Management you will be responsible for reporting against contractual terms and key performance indicators, day to day financial operations, and managing either bed space allocations for AASC or sub-contractor relations for ARAP respectively.  This role will be responsible for overall performance reporting and supplier management against contractual terms, identifying trends and risks. Working with the Senior Management Team to ensure risk is effectively managed to meet contractual obligations. A key part of this role is to manage the relevant teams and relationships to deliver high quality services and ensure services and activities are effectively delivered in line with contractual obligations. Responsible and accountable for the financial and regulatory efficiency alongside compliance of all contractual obligations.

Role Criteria:

  • Leadership of a supplier management and commercial team
  • Experience of implementing a performance management framework to support the effective management of supply chain partners through regular reviews, realisation of benefits and mitigation of risks
  • Experience in commercial contracting / contract management
  • An accurate and thorough approach to work with attention to detail
  • Highly numerate
  • Good business analysis skills
  • Current knowledge of supplier and/or commercial structures
  • Understanding of quality management systems in line with ISO9001
  • Familiar with principles of project management and delivering effective contract mobilisation through supply chain
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Highly collaborative nature
