Job Description:

Role Summary

The role is responsible for formulating and executing strategies in providing seamless supports to both Agency and Brokerage channels. The job scope will include but not limited to sales, recruitment, agency operations, compensation, governance, best practices, system and processes. It also requires to provide input into the boarder distribution strategy and represent the voice of distribution services within Distribution Leadership Team.
 

Responsibilities

Distribution Strategy

  • Provide input for broader distribution strategy and represent voice of services within Distribution Leadership team

  • Develop planning and strategic insights and analytics across sales channels to actively inform and drive the business

  • Collaborate across SLHK to share best practice development and attraction activities and approaches

  • Work closely with Distribution Leadership Team to manage the overall agency operations, drive and implement various agency initiatives and ensure quality business and sustainable growth for SLHK Agency Channel

  • Budgeting and tracking in collaboration with Finance

  • Interface with other functions as required to gain approvals/information flows to deliver on distribution processes

Enabler Support

  • Oversee functions including Sales Operations Support, Sales Personnel and Management, Distribution Governance, System and Process Improvement

  • Explore best practice and market intelligence into the ideal service model

  • Establish and develop services targets and strategies to support across distribution

  • Continuously ensure optimization of distribution including service model and support processes

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above

  • Minimum 15 years’ relevant experience in insurance or banking industries (or equivalent) of which 5 years in managerial level

  • Holder of FLMI is highly preferred

  • Ability to motivate members of Distribution and Agency heads to achieve desired results

  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and presentation skills

  • Good team leader with creative mindset

  • Ability to engage and retain key members of the team and win buy-in of the Agency force

  • Sound knowledge of agency operations and their system in driving desired behaviors

  • Good analytical ability and strong business sense

  • Willing to accept challenges and work under high pressure

  • Excellent command of English & Chinese and PC literate; fluency in Mandarin an advantage
