Job Description Summary

This role provides critical leadership to lead various process and system improvement projects for the GE Healthcare Equipment Leasing and Loan Division ( Healthcare Financial Services (HFS).

The responsibility of this role is to drive operational excellence, business process transformation, across the full financing lifecycle (e.g., origination, underwriting/credit, documentation, servicing, billing, accounting/close, reporting, and portfolio strategy).This is a highly visible role that provides critical insights to leadership, collaborates with multiple functions internally, and engages with external stakeholders including banking partners and system vendors.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Be the change agent for process, and systems

  • Support the implementation of a modern captive finance system

  • Drive governance, cross-functional alignment, vendor delivery, and organizational adoption

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business needs

  • Implement a scalable system which supports business growth, drives automation and simplification, reduces complexity and customization

  • Build and manage the integrated plan (workstreams, milestones, deliverables), track progress via KPIs, and provide weekly status reporting to executives and steering committees

  • Lead current-state assessment and future-state design across the captive finance value chain

  • Define target operating model, roles/RACI, controls and compliance requirements, and handoffs between teams and systems; align interdependencies across functions

  • Develop and execute change management strategy: communications, stakeholder engagement, training, and role-based enablement to drive adoption

  • Streamline workflows for loan origination, underwriting, documentation, funding, and servicing

  • Prepare and present reports to executive leadership on strategic initiatives.

  • Implement digital tools, AI/ML technology to improve turnaround times and reduce operational risk

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and service quality

  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and customer focus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field with 8 years of experience or HS Diploma with 12 years of experience in banking or lending or finance.

Desired Characteristics

  • MBA or a master's degree in a related field

  • Relevant certifications (CFA, CPA, or CTP) preferred

  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple high priorities and high visibility deliverables

  • Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link business strategy, operations, and financials

  • Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situation
