IMCO is looking for an initiative-taking Senior Associate to join the Performance and Analytics team!

The Senior Associate is a key member of the Performance and Analytics team, reporting to the Senior Director, building strategic solutions to meet the growing needs of our clients and our internal stakeholders. 

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Working cross-functionally with Information Technology and Stakeholder teams to integrate performance and analytics systems/solutions with enterprise systems.
  • Working with Information Technology and vendors to integrate performance and analytics systems.
    • Identifying and implementing solutions that drive automation and reduce the need for manual touch in the performance and analytics calculation and reporting process.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends that create opportunities to design and develop new performance and analytics solutions.
  • Documenting procedures that accompany new solutions.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 4 years of relevant experience in the performance and analytics field.
  • Business analysis experience is an asset.   
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business or a related field is required. A graduate degree (e.g., MBA, MFin) and/or a professional designation (e.g. CFA, CIPM) is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of finance, portfolio management theory and broad range of asset classes, investment strategies, and investment vehicles.
  • Well-versed in performance and analytics principles, methodologies and practices.
  • Experience delivering projects and change in the finance/capital markets space.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and multiple priorities against tight timelines.
  • Solid understanding of the CFA Institute GIPS® Standards and performance industry best practices and trends.
  • Written communication skills required to report complex information in a clear, concise manner.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills required to exchange complex information and to present information, as well as to build key working relationships; cultivate partnerships and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient with MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Proficiency with Power BI, SQL, VBA and Python is an asset.
  • Experience with Eagle PACE/Performance is an asset.

The base salary range for this position is CAD $90,000.00 - $120,000.00. The placement within the range is determined by the range of market pay for the specific position, as well as the candidate's knowledge, skillset and experience relative to the requirements of the position and to internal peers.
