Job summary:

As ID1 Device & margin bin lead, you are responsible for hiring talent to build the ID1 device/margin bin team. This position’s responsibility for improving, maintaining the device performance to meet E-spec including Access device and CMOS, also partner with process integration and yield enhancement group to drive margin bin repair density reduction to meet production level. You will cooperate and coordinate with central team, other fabs, TD, quality team, design team to implement the best in class known methods and BKM to ID1.

Responsibility:

  • Drive device to meet E-spec and maintaining CpK>1.33.
  • Drive margin bin improvement actions, SWR plan and activities to meet product level quality.
  • Analysis of device (param) data and come out pareto to provide direction and priorities of process improvement actions needed for probe yield optimization and product qualification.
  • Collaborate with internal PIE, PEE, YE group, and external HVM ADT, TD, Central Teams, other Fabs to support overall needs and objectives of the Fab.
  • Encourage collaborative efforts to solve problems, improve efficiency, and increase quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support Manufacturing Engineering, and Quality Engineering teams in driving preventive and corrective actions for internal and external quality and product issues.

  • Develop performance targets and ensure Line of Sight is communicated to individual contributors.
  • Oversee career development of team through the area leadership and ensure succession plans for all key department positions.
  • Empower team members, promote collaboration, distribute work and learning opportunities, and provide a line of sight to strategic objectives.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirement:

  • Senior level (10+ years) experience in the semiconductor industry in the areas of device, Yield Enhancement, Product Engineering, Design.
  • Previous experience in DRAM is preferred including TD, HVM, and transfer team. Other memory technology or logic/foundry experience will be considered.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the DRAM process flow, Param, and probe flow.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing an engineering team (5+ direct reports)
  • Success in resolving sophisticated issues.
  • Think and communicate clearly in urgent and stressful situations.
