The Opportunity  

The Global Professional Relations Product Manager will play a significant role in expanding the strategic plan to support Abbott Structural Heart's commercialization strategy across all franchises. This role will work cross-functionally with marketing, market development, commercial leaders and field team, medical affairs, product training, and R&D to identify and engage key physicians to help Abbott Structural Heart perform best practice clinical research, deliver solutions-based presentations, and provide clinical expertise for new product developments. This individual will report directly to the Global Director of Professional Relations. 
 

What You’ll Work On 

  • Develop and facilitate trainings, programming and communication plans for Fellow, Structural Heart Coordinator and Key Physicians. 

  • Manage current KOL platform contracting (speaking/consulting), compliance, program scheduling including verification with sales and marketing programs to support and verify speaker/consulting activity. Interact with Office of Ethics and Compliance. 

  • Partner closely with marketing and market development on the content development of MD to MD education for physician education  

  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate performance and customer feedback to generate new program ideas and approaches. 

  • Act as a point of internal contact for strategic initiatives within professional relations.    

  • Evaluate improvement opportunities, prepare business case, present preferred options, and gain alignment from global leadership on chosen option for key initiatives and customer relations strategy. 

  • Up to 40% travel maybe required 

Qualifications 

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree with up to 4 years related experience, or MBA with up to 2 yrs. related experience.

  • Background in Interventional Cardiology or Structural Heart space is preferred. 

  • Experience engaging and maintaining KOL relationships. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence, lead, negotiate, and work effectively at all levels. 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects on track to meet deadlines. 

  • Able to work independently, with minimal direction. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, highly collaborative, strong influencing skills, and the ability to build effective working relationships in a matrix environment. 

  • Project management experience with proven ability to handle and lead multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Strong presentation skills. 

  • Familiar with MS Office Suite of Products (PowerBI, MS Teams, Excel, PPT) 

Preferred:

  • 5+ years of medical affairs, sales, and/or marketing experience in the medical device or healthcare industry. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively, internally and externally. 

  • Ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment. 

  • Ability to lead a team and work in a group environment, including interaction with Senior / Executive level leadership.  

  • Must be highly analytical; possess strong interpersonal skills including influencing, negotiation and teamwork skills. 

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. 

  • Must be process oriented and understand the relationship and necessity of process to strategy. 

  • Experience with digital sales tools, execution tools, and sales force automation. 

  • Ability to think strategically, develop frameworks and platforms that ensure optimal and unfettered access to business tools, assets and capabilities Demonstrated management skill. 

  • Proven ability to employ various flexible communications vehicles to drive messaging across a broad, varied and dispersed commercial organization.

The base pay for this position is

$109,300.00 – $218,500.00

In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
