What We Do

Carries out and develops procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements in an applications development environment. Evaluates and tests new or modified software programs and software development procedures to ensure that programs developed throughout the company function according to user requirements and conform to established guidelines. Support responsibilities will include the development and execution of test scripts for new and/or modified software applications and software development procedures and standards.

We are seeking a QA Analyst who enjoys these endeavors along with working in a fast-paced environment where the challenges differ from day to day.  If you are looking to widen your skill set and grow as a QA Analyst, then Docutech is the place for you.

The Quality Assurance Analyst is a software testing role working with an integrated team of developers, product managers, QA analysts and software support analysts. The primary objective for this position will be to assist with the testing process through development and execution of test scenarios, as well as regression testing of proprietary software, and assisting with innovative efforts to improve quality across the organization.  This position will also communicate issue tracking through generation of reports, as well as status of testing coverage for all software products developed and does require duties to be performed outside of normal work hours based on business needs..

What You'll Bring:

  • Knowledgeable and familiar with:
  • Software development life cycle
  • Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, etc.
  • Functional requirements documents
  • Designing and implementing test scenarios and cases
  • Creating and implementing test plans
  • Investigating and recreating reported defects
  • Reporting and logging software defects
  • Running regression, performance and security/vulnerability tests

Experience:

  • Moderate computer skills with general understanding of databases
  • Practical working knowledge of software testing methodology (e.g. black box, regression, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly and work well with team members
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects synchronically
  • Knowledge of the residential mortgage industry preferred

Salary Range: $59,000 - 78,600 Annually

This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting.  Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
